Toolplex keeps the core experience local-first: no signup, minimal tracking surface, and clear expectations around data handling.

Local-first tools

Toolplex is designed so tool inputs are processed in your browser whenever possible. We do not need accounts for the core tools, and we do not intentionally store the content you enter into calculators, generators, formatters, validators, or converters.

Local processing is especially important for developer snippets, security values, finance estimates, business documents, and other data that may contain private or identifying information. When a tool can work without a server, Toolplex should keep the work on the device.

Information we avoid collecting

The core Toolplex experience does not require names, emails, passwords, user accounts, saved projects, or payment details. Tool pages should avoid collecting personal data unless a future feature clearly explains why that data is needed.

A static website may still be served through hosting infrastructure that receives basic technical request data such as IP address, browser, timestamp, requested URL, and error logs. That kind of infrastructure data is used for reliability, abuse prevention, and debugging rather than for building individual user profiles.

Future services

If a future tool requires server-side checks, APIs, file conversion, uploads, account features, or third-party integrations, that page should clearly explain what leaves the browser before the feature is used.

Some pages may also link to other sites in the Toolplex network or to third-party resources. Those sites may have their own privacy practices, so review their policies when you leave Toolplex.
